Often incorporated in traditional herbal remedies, it's also famously known in folklore for its association with dreamwork and dreaming. The plant's silvery-green, serrated leaves become a focal point in the garden, and its small, yellowish or reddish-brown flowers add to its allure. Apart from its medicinal and mystical uses, Mugwort is also sought after for its aromatic qualities and is sometimes used in culinary dishes.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Start Mugwort seeds indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date or sow directly outdoors after the danger of frost has passed. Plant seeds on the surface of the soil, as they need light to germinate. Space seedlings 18-24 inches apart, with 24-36 inches between rows. Mugwort prefers full sun to partial shade and well-draining soil. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
