Wild Senna, also known as Cassia Senna, is a versatile herb with a long history of medicinal use. This perennial plant is a favorite for pollinators and adds a touch of wild beauty to any landscape.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
To soften the hard coating on these wild senna seeds, rub them lightly with sandpaper or soak them in 175°F water for 10 minutes and continue to soak overnight at room temp. Next, cold stratify the seeds for 1-2 weeks before planting to break the seed's dormancy. Sow the seed in early spring in full to partial sun, planting just below the surface of the soil. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination.
