Description:
The Bluebonnet is a native wildflower of the deep south and holds the honor of being the state flower of Texas. The blooms have the unique trait of changing colors as they age which is why they sometimes look reddish and other times blue. An amazing selection whether it's in a pot, border or and entire field. Not only does the state flower of Texas bloom oceans of blue, but this famous wildflower forms attractive rosettes in winter. This is the species often used by highway departments and garden clubs.
