$1.95 $3.90
Known as the "Five-Spot" plant, Nemophila maculata (Five-Spot) is a Borage Family flowering plant with five white petals with deep blue spots at the tip. Easily grown, they are an ideal addition to rockeries, hanging baskets, and other containers where their hardiness and dry-tolerance ensure a good display. With consistently high heat and humidity, Louis plants decline rapidly and die after blooming profusely in cool spring weather until June.

Planting Instructions:
Direct sow in early spring, pressing lightly into the surface of the soil since this seed needs light to germinate. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination, which should occur within 10-20 days. When the seedlings can safely be handled, thin or transplant for wider spacing. For an early start, start the seed indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost and transplant outdoors.
