Description:
Also known as Dainty Daisy, this sweet mini version brings charm wherever it grows. This hardy perennial is also extremely easy to grow. The Erigeron genus contains nearly 400 flowers and is in appearance between a daisy and an aster. The name "Fleabane" comes from the medieval practice of using these dried flowers to repel fleas. Regardless of the use, it will make a stunning addition to your garden.
Planting Instructions:
Direct sow in late fall press the seeds into the surface of the soil. Don't cover as they need light to germinate. For spring planting, mix the seeds with moist sand and store in the refrigerator for 60 days to break the dormancy before direct sowing. Germination can be slow and naturally irregular. Keep moist until established. Mature plants will tolerate heat and drought well and well only need watering during extended drought. This plant prefers light, sandy soil.
