Description:
The Dahlberg daisy, which is also called golden fleece or golden dogwood is a tiny flower but mighty in stature. Golden flowers adorn the foliage of this annual plant, which has a wide spread of 12 inches (1.25 cm). Their feathery foliage has a pleasant citrusy aroma when crushed or bruised, and the plants grow to about 6-8 inches (15-20 cm.) in height, with a bit of a trailing habit. Dahlberg daisies can be grown in many different places. Alternatively, they can be planted in planters or hanging baskets, or used to cover low borders. Dahlberg daisies are native to more dry climates in Texas and northern Mexico.

Planting Instructions:
Direct sow Dahlberg daisy seeds in spring, pressing into the surface of the soil. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination, which usually occurs within 1-2 weeks. This plant can also be started indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost of spring. Water seedlings occasionally until they become established. Since they prefer dry soil, mature plants tolerate drought and poor soil well. They also grow well in shallow, rocky soil or gravel
